Ok gang here's the sitch' (eeeee Kim Possible!)

Teresa and fam are going out of town leaving us to take care of Oliver, her snuggle puppy.
I have the whole day off.
We're closing the deal on this house this month (omg) so that eliminates the threat of eviction if I'm caught.

How can I sneak a snuggle puppy into a building where no puppies are allowed?

And can I convince my puppy-friendly Grandma to let me bring him to dinner tonight?

I can't excuse spending $40 on a tanning package but I'm wearing this black and yellow dress to my cousins wedding in June. (I look like I'm comming out of the Bee Movie) My skin tan and the color yellow is like peanut butter and a dogs mouth. They go great together!

Chris and I took Dad and my little brother out to see the house last night. I think they were impressed. My brother definatley liked the backyard with the creek and crazy old bridge. My Dad liked the basement best. I got hugs and congrats.

I also got to meet one of my future neighbors. While everyone was chatting in the driveway I saw a man on his deck watching us. I waved and he waved back, then he came over and introduced himself! John has lived on the cul-de-sac for about 9 years and offered to get the other guys over to help us out if we needed it. Yay! I have friendly neighbors!

I can't wait to move in. May 23rd had better get here soon. I want to start cleaning everything right away. It looks so pretty after being vacant for a year, I can't imagine what it will look like after I'm through with it.

I want to join pokemonathon but I'm afraid I'll only give it two weeks effort, then loose intrest. Maybe I can give myself a head start, stock up on some entries, then apply. :D

I love having all these Disney soundtracks on my iPod. If only singing talent was matched by enthusiasm~! ♪ Speaking of iPods, I want the iPod Touch SO BAD. But my iPod from 2003 is totally fine. Battery charges and lasts quite a long time. Display is tip-top. If I bought a new one, what would I do with the old one?

If only it would break, I shouldn't say that...

I took the neices swimming last night with Teresa. We went to the same YMCA that I took my swimming lessons in. I totally had one of those "this building used to look so big" moments.

Kalen had never been swimming before and was totally into it. She kept trying to jump out of my arms and do her own thing. And drink the water. If you are a baby, and you are soaking in it, you must drink it.

Kierstin looked like Scuba Steve with her too-tight goggles. Then she wanted to play hid and seek in the pool. :looks around: Where do you want me to hid, girl?!

All in all, a fun night. ♥

I wish Chris would come home. I want to go for a walk or something. I'm so bored in here. Not reading, not internt, not AC:WW is entertaining me!

I'm unentertainable!

I went into work today and became certified in every department except appliances. I scored a 77% on that one (80% is passing). I'll have to try again next week. Its fun to learn! Did you know taht a front loading washer uses around 10-16 gallons of water, whilst a top-loading uses about 40-60 gallons? Any questions?

Oh and by the way, next week on April 30th its 31¢ Scoop night at Baskin Robins.

I've been cutting down my soda intake to 2 bottles a week, one on Monday and one on Saturday. This week I skipped Monday and I'm going to stretch out to Saturday. I'm going to make it this time! I'm going to stop being so addicted to pop!

I'm also doing situps in the morning. I'm going to make small changes fit lifestyle changes this summer and make them stick.

I thought Waterworld was a cool movie. I'm just throwing it out there.

I ordered a Glameow pokekid last night.

I want to start reading A New Earth and see what all the fuss is about.

Sometimes work can really bring me down. I've learned so much, but I've got such a long way to go. And I feel like I'm not in the "I'm new here" stage anymore so I've got no excuse to fall back on.

I could go for a pep talk.

As Chris left for work today he said, "Honey, don't kill yourself cleaning the house today. You didn't feel great last night and you should rest."

I said, "Don't worry! I'm just going to dust and vacuum."

I had every intenion to stop there. Now that the dusting, vacuuming, floor is scrubbed, dishes are done, table cloth is ironed and starched, laundry, and bathroom is cleaned; I'm ready for my mother-in-law to visit from WA. :)

Now I can watch the movies I rented. Sweeney Todd or King of Kong, which first?

My grandma got a dog a few weeks ago from the Humane Society. She's a 3yr old beagle/corgi mix, named Oreo. Wait, what was that? Big floppy ears + short legs rolled into one? This degree of cutness is not possible! Its off the charts!

It was so sunny and nice yesterday, I went over and taught Grandma how to walk Oreo so she wouldn't pull and be barking at the neighbors dogs. I'm glad I got to help. We were having lunch earlier in the day and Grandma was telling me that she didn't want to take her on long walks anymore because her arm was hurting from all the pulling. Oreo is a born follower and was just testing the boundries before. Now everyone is happy and can't wait to go on more walks!

I feel like Cesar. I want a dog of my own sooooo badly! It would be so fun if I could walk my future dogs with Grandma and Oreo. One big happy pack!

Oprah today is having Lisa Ling expose puppy mills. I'm a little nervous to watch, but interested because I've always wanted to know how I can spot a store selling from one of those horrible places. A pet store that opened up recently by Best Buy had picketers in front of it because it supposedly bought from a puppy mill.

Will I ever find a house? Hopefully sooner than later.

I spent an hour looking at properties online this morning, I hope some of them are good. Teresa does such a great job picking properties out for us its been kind of easy to rely on her. And the last time we went out to look at a house, Chris and I got in an arguement in front of her. Ugh, how embarassing.

I hope we can get looking again soon. I just want to make the right decision so this can all be done with.

One thing I've learned that I think most homebuyers leard is that there are some strange decorating choices out there. There's a lot of red rooms out there. This was my favorite, bright yellow butter colored counter tops. Whoa... Wait! I know who must live there!

I woke up pretty early again this morning, but no worries its my day off. I got on the computer and after some research I've added Kaiyukan aquarium in Osaka to my list of places Chris and I should see when we go to Japan. The whale shark is pretty cool but...

I want to see the Ocean Sunfish (mola mola)!

I'd first heard of the fish from Animal Crossing. When I actually did some research on the subject, I was suprised by how big sunfish are in real life!

The can be almost ten feet tall and just as long. Humungeous! Their fins are so tall that they can be mistaken for a shark when they come to the surface; and they come to the surface pretty often. Diving down in cold water to eat bouncy little jellies makes them dizzy, so they like to warm up by basking on the surface. While they're warming up, sea birds will land on them and eat some of the parasites on their silver skin. Thanks birds! Just consider me a floating buffet with a curious face.

A woman’s trip to the Magic Kingdom was hardly a walk in the park after she says she was beaten up by a woman in a ‘line rage’ incident.

Aimee Krause says Victoria Walker accused her of cutting into the line at the Mad Tea Cup ride last year at Disney World, MyFOXOrlando reports.

Walker, an Alabama native, could face 15 years behind bars if convicted of battery with a deadly weapon.

Krause has now filed additional charges claiming her children were also attacked.

“She came from behind just screaming,” Krause told MyFOXOrlando. “Next thing I knew she kicked me in my left leg, threw me to the ground and at that point I was pinned between the teacup and the saucer and she continued to beat up on my body.”

In the incident report, Krause claimed Walker tried to choke her with a lanyard she wore to hold water bottles around her neck, MyFOXOrlando reports.

During a deposition Monday, Walker declined to accept a plea deal that would have given her a one-year jail sentence.

Jury selection for the ‘Tea Cup Madness’ trial will begin in April.

I lolled at the thought of being choked with my pin trading lanyard. I'd be flailing, whipping my wet noodle arms begging for her not to steal my Haunted Mansion pin set.

I just don't get people who can't have a good time in Disney. If you're tired and cranky then take a seat and enjoy a floor show, rest and munch on a Dole Whip, or go back and take a nap! This is your vacation, people.

I want to go shopping online so bad. All the things I want are little pieces of junk. I want a Glameow plush, some cute cellphone charms, random graphic T's (like I do't already have enough), ballet flats etc.

I wish that cooking bacon didn't make the apartment smell for such a long time. Anytime I cook something thats fried or broiled I'm stuck with stink. I think that when we have a house and the kitchen has windows it might be a little easier.

I was just watching the scene in Howl's Moving Castle where they cook the bacon and eggs and now I'm craving some breakfast.

I think someone might have shown Britney The Animatrix and possibly Ghost in the Shell the day before she started production on her video for "Break the Ice"

Now I'm not one of those otaku weirdos thats all "Britney has no place in anime!" I'm jsut saying the premise of the animation is a little stale. The matrix WAS really cool when it first came out, but why dig through the recycle bin for your ideas? Britney's LIFE right now would have been a cool video for animation! A hot starlet trying to esccape everyone who wants a piece of her, stampeding though hospitals and and THEN does that jump out the window thing.

Not to her death or anything,... welll... no too far.

I really don't have much room to talk. I would be pleased as punch to have an animated music video made of myself. But for Pete's sakes I would want the character to LOOK like me. The Britney character looks like a combination between Mirelle from Noir and Marg Helgenberger.
